About Us

The West Nashville Farmers Market piloted its first season in Richland Park in 2009. Over the past three years the event has grown to be an amazing outpost of family-fun, sensational seasonal food and tasty local music. Patrons come to practice yoga with Jimbo , practice Tai Chi, romp in the the playground, browse at the library or just take a stroll with a good friend.

The market is coordinated by the staff of  Good Food for Good People and is part of their Neighborhood Farmers Market Initiative. We are a  producer’s-only market. This market was voted #1 Farmers Market  by the SCENE  its maiden year and and in 2011 was awarded the same honor in the Writer’s Poll. We are now a year around event – outdoors in the park from the beginning of April until the end of November and indoors at 4611 Alabama Avenue from December through March.
